Environmental Sustainability Assessment (ESA)
The ESA will help your company establish proactive sustainability processes to improve your operational efficiencies, reduce costs, and reduce environmental impact while improving your bottom line. Waste Wise staff will get to know your company and operations through dialogue with staff and becoming familiar with your facility. Recommendations will be made in a comprehensive report to help meet your goals throughout the year.

Business Site Visit (BSV)
The site visit provides an overview of potential opportunities your business has to improve waste reduction, recycling, resource conservation and energy efficiency, reducing costs. An inventory of recommendations will be provided following the visit.

Minnesota Waste Wise member, Murphy Warehouse Company is no stranger to being green. Since 1995 the company estimates that it has saved over $780,000 through green initiatives and practices. Among Murphy Warehouse's most recent green initiatives is an extensive project to reduce storm water. Outcomes of this project have included the elimination of the city annual storm water fee, previously totaling $68,000 annually, and significantly lower costs in lawn maintenance (fertilizers, mowing, and watering). In addition, the property has become an aesthetically pleasing, colorful site to passers-by, neighbors and employees.
