What information does the Minnesota Waste Wise Foundation collect

When you register for an event:

  • Your name
  • Your e-mail address
  • Your company name
  • Your contact information, such as phone number, fax number and address
  • Your state and county
  • Your credit card information, such as card number, type and expiration date


What does the Minnesota Waste Wise Foundation do with your information?

Internally, any financial information you provide via our event registration system is used only for billing purposes related to the event for which you’ve registered.

If your organization receives the services of the Waste Wise or Energy Smart program through our partner the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, the Minnesota Waste Wise Foundation retains the option to share your contact information (e.g., name, company name, company address, phone, fax and email) with the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce at any time. You may choose to opt out of this arrangement by contacting us at 651.292.4653. We do not disclose financial information.

Periodically throughout the year we update the organizations we serve via email. If at any time you want to opt out of receiving our emails, please contact us at mnwastewise@mnchamber.com.

Does Minnesota Waste Wise use cookies?

A cookie is a tiny file of data that remains on your hard drive. The Minnesota Waste Wise Foundation does not use cookies on our web site or in our e-mails to collect any personal information. We do, however, use cookies in our surveys in order to ensure that our sample is valid and that the any single organization does not submit multiple responses.

We may also collect your IP address, which is a unique number assigned to your machine by your Internet Service Provider each time you connect to the Internet.
